Wrong Hordak is a clone of Horde Prime who was accidentally severed from the hive-mind by Bow and Entrapta during the Best Friends Squad's mission to rescue Catra in "Save the Cat".
He was first mentioned when Entrapta was looking for Hordak, so she mistakenly assumed this was her actual Horde "friend" (or rather, the one she knew) and tried to jog his memory with a microchip he had given her. When he was proven to be just another clone, Bow called him the "Wrong Hordak", and this moniker stuck as a nickname from then on. The clone did not have any other names to be called from then on.
Wrong Hordak severed his allegiance to Horde Prime after finding out he had retreated after not being able to conquer Krytis.
Appearance[]
Wrong Hordak's appearance is almost identical to the clones in the Clone Army, but he has his hair more loose and he doesn't wear a cloak unlike the rest of the Clone Army does. He also has a wider range of facial expressions than the other Clones, as after leaving Horde Prime and the other Clones in the Clone Army, he is not forced to do exactly as Prime says.
Personality[]
Prior to being severed from the hive-mind, Wrong Hordak was like every other one of Horde Prime's clone soldiers. He thought very highly of Horde Prime and was completely loyal to him.
After being separated from the hive, Wrong Hordak became very submissive, confused, and dim-witted. At first, he had much difficulty thinking for himself and required others to tell him what to do. Over time he gained confidence on his new emotions and became very expressive. He does his best to be helpful, as he was excited and willing to make dinner for everyone on the ship in "Taking Control.”
Relationships[]
Entrapta[]
Entrapta had initially thought Wrong Hordak was Hordak. He had attempted to attack her before Bow knocked him out. After Wrong Hordak woke up, Entrapta had begged Bow to keep him. Wrong Hordak proved very helpful after, he could open doors on Horde Prime's ship. Later, Wrong Hordak is seen assisting Entrapta with her technological work. Entrapta acts rather little motherly toward Wrong Hordak, shown when she teaches him how to wink and is proud of him when he manages to do it.
Emily[]
Wrong Hordak had been very afraid of Emily at first. He was so scared to even pat her on the head, but when Entrapta finally convinced him to pat Emily he was in awe by her. Since then, they have had a friendly relationship.
History[]
Season Five[]
In "Save the Cat", Entrapta finds a clone who she thinks is Hordak and offers him the Data Crystal to try and jog his memory. However, this is not Hordak and the clone attack Entrapta. Bow knocks the clone out and disconnects him from the pod system. The clone loses his connection to the hive mind and has a bit of a crisis as Horde Prime would not longer know he is faithful. Bow assures him that he would tell Horde Prime that the clone is loyal. It's at this point the clone believes that Bow and Entrapta have Horde Primes favor and the clone endeavors to help them. Bow then names the clone "Wrong Hordak" and brings him along to lead them to the server room and help open doors. He continues to follow the two in hopes of earning favor with the "beloved" of Horde Prime.
In "Taking Control", Glimmer and Wrong Hordak bake dumplings for the crew of the ship while everyone else is busy fighting Prime's bots or removing the chip from Catra. He joins the group for dinner after the battle was done. He even jokes about putting amniotic fluid in the dumplings adding,
In "Shot in the Dark", as the Crew aboard Mara’s ship approaches Etheria, they spot the massive blockade surrounding their planet. Bow asks Catra if Prime has a weakness, but Catra jokes that she wouldn't be told such a thing. Wrong Hordak, seemingly not understanding the joking context, replies "You are correct, brother: we do not discuss Horde Prime's weakness." This leads to Wrong Hordak mentioning Krytis, which he frantically insisted does not exist once he realizes his mistake. Once on the planet, the crew disembark with everyone in space suits except Wrong Hordak. Adora, Bow, Glimmer and Catra enter a spire abandoned by Prime, leaving Entrapta to find a clone recharging chamber, to which she connects Wrong Hordak to, without asking for his permission. He stays with Entrapta while the rest search the spire. Wrong Hordak begins to receive information that contradicts his programming, leading him to an emotional crisis. With Entrapta there for emotional support, Wrong Hordak resolves his crisis and vows to destroy Prime's evil reign, thus starting his major participation in the Rebellion.
Hordak meets Emily.
In "An Ill Wind", Glimmer and crew return to Etheria and find the rebel base in ruins. They decide to gather intel and so Glimmer teleports everyone to Erelandia which they find out is guarded by bots and clones. Entrapta, Bow, Glimmer, Catra and Adora follow Wrong Hordak into the village in disguise. Spinnerella lands in the village and attacks the heroes. After trading blows and pleas to stop the attack, Netossa joins the group and begins defending the town from Spinnerella. Rather than risk hurting their chipped friend Glimmer teleports everyone away from the fight. Glimmer and the rest return to Erelandia and, using Wrong Hordak as misdirection, draw out two clones into an ambush. Next, they begin an assault on the enemies inside the village. With the Horde purged from the village, the citizens pledge themselves to the Rebellion. Netossa leads everyone to the hideout and there was a joyous reunion. Adora pledges to free all their friends and defeat Prime.
In "Heart Part 1", he assists the Rebellion in order to fight against Horde Prime's Clone Army and also save all "chipped" former Rebellion members. In "Heart Part 2" he is seen ready to engage in battle against Horde Prime's final attack, he is last seen clinging to Swift Wind when the Heart of Etheria is activated. It is unknown what happened to him after Adora freed the magic and defeated Horde Prime by eradicating him from Hordak, but it is likely that he is still alive.

Trivia[]
- In the episode "Taking Control", Wrong Hordak is given an apron that says "Smooch the Chef" in First Ones writing. According to ND Stevenson, it was originally going to say "Kiss the Cook", but that phrase was trademarked, so the they had to change it.[1]
- He is the only known clone in the She-Ra universe with the ability to wink as well as the only clone whose personality is shown in detail throughout the season.
- According to ND Stevenson, Wrong Hordak started as a writers room joke — "like, wouldn't it be funny if they thought they had rescued Hordak, and then it turned out to be the wrong Hordak. And he was just a totally different person." At first the writers thought they might not be able to include that plot, since there was a lot going on in Season Five already, "but we were all so in love with Wrong Hordak that we were like, 'we're gonna make this happen.' So we did."[2]
