The Super Pal Trio is similar to the Best Friends Squad, consisting of Catra, Scorpia, and Entrapta. It succeeded the Super Pal Duo when Entrapta joined the Horde. It is implied that Scorpia was jealous of the Best Friends Squad, and decided to counter with her own duo, and, eventually, trio. It has now been disbanded, with Catra joining the Best Friends Squad and the two other previous members having found new relationships.
Organization=[]
Catra was a grumpy, typically pessimistic member of the group. This led Scorpia's own personality to clash with hers indefinitely, as she was the optimistic one who kept them together and never let them give up, much to Catra's chagrin. Entrapta was the bubbly, chaotic, audacious addition, her personality causing her to grow closer with Scorpia than Catra.
History[]
Season One[]
The proposal of a "Super Pal Trio" first came from Scorpia in the episode "Light Hope". Catra was against the idea, of course, but Entrapta did not seem to mind; hence forming a group much like the Best Friends Squad, much to Catra's distaste.
Season Two[]
In the "The Frozen Forest", the Super Pal Trio appear sitting on a couch, watching Entrapta's bots wreak havoc in the Whispering Woods.
Season Three[]
The Portal is opened.
The Super Pal Trio remained until Catra sent Entrapta away to Beast Island in "The Portal" for trying to warn Hordak not to use his Portal machine, as it would collapse reality upon itself. This triggered a series of events in which Scorpia realized that who she once thought was a friend is quite clearly not, urging her to turn against the Horde in order to discover how to be a true friend.
Season Four[]
In the episode "Princess Scorpia", Scorpia decides to leave Catra and the Horde with Entrapta's robot, Emily.
