Scorpia's mothers are the female parents or evident guardians of Scorpia, appearing only in a photo Scorpia keeps near her cot.[2] Their whereabouts are entirely unknown.
All information except their appearance is entirely by inference, as no details about them have specifically been confirmed. They are assumed to be Scorpia's parents, and heavily implied to be, as their picture resides on her nightstand. Director Kiki Manrique and character designer Ray Geiger also both called them Scorpia's moms.[3][4]
Appearance
One of the mothers is depicted with a white bob cut, a gray-white dress, and slender brownish scorpion pincers. The other mother is taller, with a strong, more endomorphic physique similar to Scorpia. She has black hair braided in the back and loose in the front, dark red & gray robes with spaulders, and large red pincers.
Abilities
The Scorpioni have a paralyzing sting from their tail, and their blood-maroon pincers are perfect for crushing, gripping, and snipping.
Family
Scorpia is the only known living member of her family. Her mothers are depicted in a picture Scorpia keeps near her bed.[2] Scorpia looks up to her whole family, although most of what she knows comes from the Horde.
One of the mothers would be the daughter of the last Scorpion King, Scorpia's grandfather.
Plot
Past
Scorpia's family used to rule over the Fright Zone from Horror Hall,[2] until Hordak's ship crashed into their land. Scorpia told Catra, "The Horde crash-landed in my family's backyard." When Scorpia's grandfather made an agreement with the Horde, the kingdom, the Black Garnet, and their princess was given over to them. The Royal Scorpion Family has all but disappeared since.
Present
The whereabouts of Scorpia's mothers are left entirely unknown.
Trivia
- Scorpia's mothers are the second LGBT parents that are seen in She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, the first one being George and Lance.
- The picture of them was apparently added by character designer Ray Geiger.[3][4]
