The robot spiders were created by Light Hope to protect the Crystal Castle and to help train Adora.
They are physically big enough to climb on top of and perhaps ride, as they could nearly tear open a door and moved very quickly. A screeching sound may be emitted while they attempt to attack, as seen in "Corridors."
