Norwyn was a previous Head Sorcerer of Mystacor and both the mentor and leader of Shadow Weaver when she was known as Light Spinner.
Appearance
Norwyn has large dark grayish goat-like horns and pointed ears. He has a rather narrow face with prominent cheekbones. He has long gray hair, a goatee and black eyes. He has a grayish skin complexion. Norwyn wears a sorcerer's crown and purple robes, fastened with a clasp in the shape of a golden star with a purple gem in the center.
Personality
Norwyn is shown to be stern and capable. He abides by the rules and is measured and disciplined. When Light Spinner exhibits behaviors that violate his principles on behalf of protecting the safety of others, he called her out for being greedy for power. Determined, he tried his best to stop her and insist that too much power could only go wrong.
Powers and Abilities
- Sorcery: As a previous ruler of Mystacor, Norwyn was, without a doubt, an incredibly powerful sorcerer. During his fight with the disillusioned and disfigured Light Spinner, he was shown to be able to project an energy beam and (apparently) levitate. However, his power was ultimately not enough to defend himself against Light Spinner with the power she gained by the Spell of Obtainment.
- Leadership: As Head Sorcerer of Mystacor, Norwyn had control over the kingdom and its sorcerer inhabitants.
Relationships
Shadow Weaver
As Light Spinner, her relationship with the old leader of Mystacor was at first uneasy, but then became antagonistic, disagreeing with him regarding the kingdom's role in the fight with the newly formed Horde on Etheria. She destroyed the sorcerer with the Spell of Obtainment before leaving and joining Hordak's forces.
History
Past
Norwyn led Mystacor and was Light Spinner's superior. He perished after Light Spinner, who afterwards known as Shadow Weaver, attacked him while she was under the influence of the Spell of Obtainment. By her newfound power, Light Spinner entrapped and consumed him.
