The Force Captain Badge is a uniform insignia that identifies the person wearing it as being in charge of Horde forces. It signifies a rank above that of the average soldier, similar to that of an officer.
The badge was first shown when Adora received it from Shadow Weaver, officially promoting her to the rank of Force Captain. After Adora's defection from the Horde to join The Rebellion, Hordak promoted Catra in her place and gave a new badge to her.
The badge has radio communication abilities and can be used as a tracking device. When activated, the badge temporarily turns red but will revert to its original green color after the communication link has ended.
