Several of the characters in the series exhibited or mentioned specific morning rituals in which they regularly engaged.
Adora's Morning Ritual[]
Shown in the first episode of the series, "The Sword Part 1," Adora's morning ritual in the Horde goes as follows:

- Dress
- Don her forearm-mounted training shield
- Begin brushing her teeth
- Work out with a punching bag
- Finish brushing her teeth
- Salute herself in the mirror
- Fire and holster her finger-guns
- Box the air
- Taunt an illustration of a princess (in the example, she was shown yelling at a poster of a princess who seemingly looked like Queen Angella)
Perfuma's Morning Ritual[]

Perfuma's ritual was mentioned in the fourth episode of Season Two, "The Valley Of The Lost."
Perfuma greets each dawn with a "centering morning ritual" in order for her to be her "best self." She notes that when this ritual is interrupted, it makes it hard for her to be "zen" in response to the challenges of the day. Nevertheless, it does not stop her from speaking her truth.
Scorpia's Morning Ritual[]
This morning routine was shown with Scorpia's own narrative commentary in the Season Four episode, "Princess Scorpia."

- Wake up bright-eyed and smiling
- Say good morning to the world, including the announcement that she is reporting for duty
- Begin her morning ritual verbal checklist
- Use her claw to scrape her teeth
- Compliment herself on her appearance in the mirror
- Breathe in the new day
- Make her bed
- Feed the robot Emily by setting out a bowl of assorted small machine parts
- Push down doubts and insecurities
- Give herself a pep talk: "I am brave, strong, loyal, and I give great hugs! And I am gonna be the best friend I can be!"
- Affirm that, "today will be a great day!"
Shadow Weaver's Morning Ritual[]

Shadow Weaver's ritual was shown and described by her in Season Four, episode seven, "Mer-Mysteries."
Shadow Weaver has a dramatic daily ritual by which she makes her morning tea. Her tea includes essence of echinacea and a dash of ginger root. As part of the ritual, she chants the ingredients as if she is casting a spell.
Trivia[]
- Scorpia does not appear to have any trouble completing her morning ritual even when interrupted in the middle by a conversation with someone.
- Scorpia is seen to complete her affirmation that the day will be great, even if she comes face to face with a disastrous situation during her ritual.
- It has been suggested in "Corridors," by Catra and Glimmer, that Adora's work-out may actually begin before she wakes up, as she is known to sleep-fight.
- Presumably, Adora's morning ritual altered somewhat once she joined the Rebellion.
