Glimmer and Bow
Bow and Glimmer is a canonically confirmed romantic relationship within the She-Ra and the Princesses of Power series. To the fandom, their relationship is also known as Glimbow, or Glow.
Season One[]
Bow supports Glimmer in her quest to find First Ones' technology where they encounter Adora, and together win her over to join the Rebellion. They work side by side to oust the Horde from Plumeria, defend Salineas from Scorpia and Catra's attack, save Entrapta from her own bots and strengthen their bond with Castaspella and Mystacor.
At the Princess Prom their friendship is strained by Glimmer's insecurity over Bow going with Perfuma and not her. The pair is then captured by Lonnie and Kyle after a Horde incursion into The Kingdom of Snows. In the Fright Zone the pair are separated but are rescued and reunited by the Princess Alliance. Bow stays by Glimmer's side while all the princesses abandon Bright Moon to look out for their own kingdoms.
Bow works with Adora in Bright Moon to cure Glimmer's glitching after their rescue. Swift Wind takes the pair to the Crystal Castle where they liberate Adora from Light Hope's influence. They then hurry back to Bright Moon where they prepare the defense of Bright Moon. Then they battle the Horde's attack, repel Catra and her forces. And Bow is at Glimmer's side when the princesses powers unite and cure her glitching.
Season Two[]
Glimmer and Bow together with the princesses destroy Horde bots and capture one for Bow to study. Bow reveals to Glimmer that Entrapta is alive and making tech for the Horde, but they wrongly assume that she is an unwilling prisoner. They plan to go to Dryl to rescue her. Glimmer feels guilty and responsible for what happened to Entrapta, so she refuses any other help out of fear that someone else would get hurt. After entering Dryl, they overhear Entrapta and Kyle struggling with a bot prototype and assume that Entrapta was being tortured, so they attack Catra and Scorpia. When Glimmer and Bow escape they accidentally teleport out with Catra and take her prisoner. Bow and Glimmer quarrel over the way to treat Catra as a prisoner with Glimmer arguing for torture but Bow reminds her that they "are the good guys" and Glimmer capitulates. Together they negotiate the prisoner exchange, Catra for Entrapta who does not want to leave the Horde. The pair attack the bad guys and flee.
Bow and Glimmer team up with the Best Friends Quad to find out why Alwyn has gone silent. Once there they uncover First Ones tech and turn it off so the farmers can return to the village. At a Horde occupied tower they team up with the princesses to plan an attack. After some banter and shenanigans they agree on Glimmer's plan to wing it. They celebrate after driving out the Horde.
Sea Hawk takes Glimmer, Bow and Adora to the Northern Reach where they discover Snow Monsters and the Horde. Together Glimmer and Bow battle an infected She-Ra, Catra and then the monsters. After convincing Scorpia to break the First Ones disk, they return home to Bright Moon. Later Bow directs Glimmer and Adora while he boosts the signal of a First Ones signal on his tracker pad.
Glimmer discovers Bow is missing and panics; she and Adora track him to his parents house deep in the Whispering Woods. Once there Glimmer is shocked to find out that Bow has two normal, loving dads; she tearfully confronts Bow about his hiding his past and family from her. Bow apologizes and explains to her how his dads despise the princesses, hence the lying. She convinces Bow to tell his parents the truth and then they reaffirm their friendship in time to battle an elemental that has lain dormant in the Library. Afterward Bow and his dads invite Glimmer and Adora to a family hug.
Season Three[]
Bow and Glimmer go with Adora to the Crimson Waste, following readings on Bow's tracker pad. While there Catra captures Adora but Bow and Glimmer escape with the help of Huntara. After they return to Bright Moon they team up to try and get Queen Angella to move against the Horde, but she balks. So they convince the Alliance to work with Shadow Weaver. They all teleport to the Fright Zone where they rescue Adora after shutting down the portal device. They waited for Adora and Angella to return from the portal dimension, but grieved together after learning of the queen's sacrifice.
Season Four[]
Bow supports Glimmer during the Quest of Queens and the trying celebration of Glimmer's status as queen. The pair are then separated for a while while Bow and others went to the Valley of the Lost and Glimmer stayed in Bright Moon to rule. Glimmer had been resisting Shadow Weaver's advice on how to combat the Horde untill they injure Bow in an attack. After that she begins learning the sorcerer's spells and used them against the Horde.
After Bow recovers and returns to the field, their friendship strains over how overprotective Bow was of her. During the following battle Bow moderates a discussion between Glimmer and Adora over their emotional difficulties. After capturing a Horde solder, Glimmer threatens him with torture and Bow firmly yells at her about this. Glimmer becomes frustrated and teleports away.
Later, Glimmer is considering using the Heart of Etheria against the Horde and refuses to send a rescue party for Entrapta and orders Adora and Bow to not rescue her. Bow risks his friendship with Glimmer and disobeys her orders, taking Adora and Swift Wind to Beast Island. While they are separated Glimmer helps activate the Heart of Etheria. In the chaos that ensues Bow briefly reunites with Glimmer to battle Catra and Hordak, but Prime beams Glimmer up to his ship, separating the pair for a long time.
Season Five[]
Bow, Adora and Entrapta fly Darla to Prime's location where Catra beams Glimmer into space near Darla. Adora and Bow perform a spacewalk-rescue of the Queen, bringing her aboard their ship. After an emotional reunion, they land on the nearest planet that has thulite crystals. Once on the planet Bow gets angry with Glimmer for activating the Heart of Etheria. After getting separated from Adora the couple's interactions are snippy and angry on Bow's part, he even hints that their friendship might be over, but they continue the search for the crystals. While making a heroic attempt to get to the crystals Bow fears for Glimmer's safety, asking her to turn back, but she presses on. After gathering the crystals Glimmer needs Bow's help to cross a chasm, and the pair swing across, arm in arm.
Once back on the ship Glimmer offers a heartfelt apology, acknowledges her many mistakes, realizes that she may have damaged their friendship forever but asks Bow to give her another chance. Bow responds by taking her hand. With their relationship on the mend the agree to help Adora rescue Catra. After infiltrating Prime's space station and rescuing Catra, they welcome her and Wrong Hordak aboard. On the way home Bow lets Glimmer hug and cook for him. During a dog-fight with Prime's attack ships the pair cooperate to pilot Darla, fight the enemy and assist Adora as she defeats their foes. Later Bow complements Glimmer and Wrong Hordak's cooking and they welcome a recovering Catra to dinner. They share some cute moments while encouraging Adora.
After discovering that there may be something to defeat Prime on Krytis, they travel to the devastated planet and land. While exploring the planet Glimmer and Bow lovingly tease Catra, chanting, "Catra's first mission, Catra's first mission!". After being trapped by illusory spikes they worked together to solve the mystery magic and welcome Melog to the squad. After Melog cloaks the ship from Primes attack forces, allowing the squad to land on Etheria both Glimmer and Bow praise Catra while the pair hug her. The group decide to gather intel, so Glimmer teleports everyone to Erelandia, which they find is guarded by bots and clones. Entrapta, Bow, Glimmer, Catra, and Adora follow Wrong Hordak into the village in disguise. The heroes attempt to question the village folk but such locals are too scared to answer questions. They purge the town of enemies and chipped heros.
Glimmer and Bow agree to check up on his dads, as Bow has been really worried about them. Glimmer and Bow teleport to the Library, which is trashed and abandoned. Glimmer finds a note left by Lance and George, telling Bow where they went to hide. Glimmer transports herself and Bow to the ruins where they are hiding. After gathering what information they could they went to the Fright Zone and battled chipped heros and rescued Catra then returned to base. Bow and Glimmer tell the crew about the fail-safe and Arxia. Once in Mystacor they help Adora find the fail-safe then battle chipped Micah. After an extended fight they escape and return to base.

Trivia[]
- According to ND Stevenson, "Bow and Glimmer actually ended up being a mirror of Catra and Adora: childhood best friends who know everything about each other, and then at some point they realize they don’t actually know each other anymore and they drift apart; their relationship kind of breaks. Glimmer and Catra both get kind of blinded as they set out on these paths to do what they think they need to do and don’t realize they’re hurting the people who love them."[1]
- While the fandom's preferred ship name for the pairing is Glimbow, the She-Ra crew called it Glow.[2]
