I'm getting to the finale of book 1 and I think my brain is going off the rails.

I want to know what you all think of the Spell of Obtainment and what happened to Light Spinner/Shadow Weaver. Because honestly? looking deeper into I'm second guessing a looooooot.

Light Spinner was the only one in Mystacor that wanted to help the Rebellion. The only one wanting to really go above and beyond to stop the Horde.

So why did that so desperately change? What was the critical fall from "We have to do something" to suddenly becoming the driving factor behind the Horde's worst aspects?

What do you think? What do you head canon about it? I'm curious.

Hey fen here i was wondering if anyone know what the economic system on ethiria is. Are there multiple economic systems? Much thanks if you can provide any information.

(Spoiler alert for Season 5) Did you know that since Catra is a cat she has 9 lives, and she used 8 of them throughout the show but when Catra fell in season 5 "Save the Cat" she died her last death but since Adora fell after Catra, Adora broke her legs but she turned into She-Ra and She-Ra has healing powers so she healed herself and Catra. I found this from a few comments on YouTube and asked Google. Also if this is not true sorry lol

I just wanted to quickly say how much I love the music of She-Ra. And specifically, some of the parallels. Like, music that's repeatedly played throughout the show that causes cool parallels between relationships and other stuff. Take my favorite one for example. I figured this out while listening to the Spotify "Promise" soundtrack during my evening writing time. You know in the episode Promise at the end when Adora is hanging off that cliff and Catra is not helping her, and more formally leaving her and cutting off their friendship? While, I really loved how that exact same music was used again in Heart Part 2 when Adora is falling in that weird void thingy and Catra is actually reaching for her this time? I think it symbolizes their relationship so well.

Any music moments that you guys noticed and really liked?

I really liked seeing a new side to Catra's and Shadow Weaver's relationship.

I wonder if Shadow Weaver had a mother child relationship with Lonnie, Rogelio and Kyle

Entrapta now idolizes Bow just as Bow idolizes Entrapta, leading to many scenarios of one trying to impress the other. (And Glimmer trying to remind herself that they're just friends)

Catra HATES being called a cat, and will go out of her way to correct you that she is a cat girl.

Melog doesn't like belly rubs, but enjoys scratches.

The role of She-Ra cannot be passed down to the previous She-Ra's descendants. She-Ras are also only selected during times of strife.

Crack Headcanon:

Sea-Ra is a real and legitimate thing, and Mermista is the first of the line (🤣)

The series both begins and ends with Catra laughing. I know it's not right at the beginning, but in the very first episode Catra helps Adora up and then we see her laughing in the locker room. Right at the end Bow and Glimmer tackle them and Catra is also laughing. Catra only laughs once or twice throughout the series, the examples I could think of were laughing at Double Trouble's She Ra impression, mock laughing at Tongue Lashor during their fight, and later in that episode holding Scorpia's claw and laughing with her. So the beginning and end are probably quite special moments for Catra since she doesn't have many moments of happiness throughout the show. Maybe I've missed out some instances of her being happy, but this is just a theory.

Scorpia: In the episode Roll With It, Scorpia has proved more then capable of taking Adora in her She-Ra, and likely would've won if it weren't for Glimmer's interference.

Catra: If I need to explain this, you clearly have never watched She-Ra, or have never made it passed the first 5 episodes. Please go do that :)

Mara: It would make sense considering she's a more experienced, and aged She-Ra.

Double Trouble: They took on She Ra and managed to hold out in disguise as Catra – while they may not have won in the end, they did manage to fool Adora so they must have done a pretty good imitation of Catra's fighting style. (Courtesy of @DoubleTrouble7)

Does anyone remember that one time a user, I forgot who, made a height comparison between She-Ra and Aimee Carrero? So in the comparison it shows that She-Ra is 8 ft, but there was a debate that she was not 8 ft. I didn't say anything though I just watched it happen.

Butttttt....... I was rewatching She-Ra and do y'all remember in one of the portal episodes where Micah put that truth spell on Adora? Well she said something about turning into an 8 ft tall warrior lady with pretty hair called She-Ra.

Soooooo......... Is her height really 8 ft? Was Adora just exaggerating or making an estimate?

There might be an animation goof in Boys' Night Out.

During the scene where Sea Hawk knee slides over to Bow and holds out his hand during "Friends With Friends," we can see that it is nowhere near Bow's face.

But in the very next shot, his hand is right next to Bow's face.

Thoughts?

I know this is another fanfic question, but I have wondered how things would have went if Catra won and conquered Etheria.

Let’s say that Adora, Glimmer, Bow, and all the other rebels were defeated and captured, including Scorpia and the other Horde soldiers like Lonnie who deserted, while Catra was made ruler of Etheria without Hordak.

What would happen from then? How would she react to conquering the planet and ruling it alone? And how would she treat Adora in prison?

We have She Ra, then we also have Cat-ra. I don't know if this means anything. I am just reminded of Watership Down where they were like Hazel-ra(h?), and that means leader, so Adora is the leader of the women, and Catra is the leader of the cats (or other catlike beings, as proven with Melog).

As we know after shadow Weber lost ownership of the black garnet she was forced to use her mind to help her get her way

Like manipulating catra to plan her own escape

Then helping the resistance to get close to heart of the planet when horde prime invaded though at first it so she could get close to release the magic for herself adora snapping at her made her feel remorseful and regret hurting those she treated like daughters and decided to do the right thing for once

Why does Adora's ponytail come loose during her She Ra transformation?

Has anyone else noticed in season 5, when she transforms into She-ra, that she gets flying shoes??? Does anyone know the purpose of them?
