Also another She-Ra meme again.
Also another She-Ra meme again.
Has anyone else noticed how somehow the Horde treats Entrapta better than the rebellion? Since Entrapta's first episode, the rebels are honestly quite mean to her, they don't accommodate for her, and are very frustrated by her behaviour and aren't afraid to show it. I've noticed the Horde and even Catra accommodate her to an extent. Hordak allows Entrapta to work in his lab, and while Catra can be mean, she's very direct with her instructions and when Entrapta was speaking in a way that Catra didn't understand, Catra directly asked her to repeat herself in less detail. The rebels frequently just got angry at Entrapta for being too detailed about her science explanations, they actually got angry a lot, and treated her so differently. It look 5 seasons and Entrapta explaining she is trying to use tech to help her friends for the Princesses to finally show her respect.
Scorpia is the only princess who consistently shows Entrapta respect and friendship. I believe this is because Scorpia also has autism (headcanon).
I think that this difference between the rebellion and Horde in the way that they treat neurodivergent people is because the Horde's lack of social and societal structure. The rebel states seem to have much more of a societal structure and social code, which can be hard for neurodivergent people to abide by. The Horde's lack of structure, while damaging to most people, can be helpful to neurodivergent people, allowing us to live in a society that doesn't force a social code.
This all contributes to Entrapta being so driven towards the Horde in season 1-3. Not only can she work on her technological science and research, but she is also free to express her interests and who she is, and in fact find accommodation and safety.
Let me know what you guys think :) I think I'll make more of these analysis posts because I have a lot of thoughts!
I absolutely intend to write on each of this month's prompts, but at this rate, I fully expect some of them to be celebrating She-Ra-vember! 😆
There are so many great chairs in She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.
This is inspired by a very special, but probably mostly overlooked one.
My take on "Chair" . . .
The lone Force Captain made her way toward a place that many in the Fright Zone knew nothing about.
But she had been coming here on special occasions every few months, since she was a child.
And, unlike in most other places she knew, here she was happy to be alone.
Partially hidden in the shadows of the great foundry tower, she found it, and, as always, she felt the thrill of familiarity mingling with the pang of loss. Or at least the echo of a loss: all that was left of something she had been too young to lose fully.
Scorpia entered Horror Hall with something like a care-free reverence, feeling the legendary aura while also knowing that, unlike anyone else living in the Zone, she could practically say that she owned this place. It would have been like her own secret garden . . . if she had had any inkling of what a garden was.
"Granddad will be so surprised!" she narrated to herself dramatically, "I'll bet he'll be pretty proud," she chuckled.
"Just don't let it go to your head, though," she warned herself firmly.
By this time, she had walked to the end of the hall, where unknown figures from the past loomed large in mural form along the wall.
Centrally against the wall, there was a huge stone chair, which would have been a throne in the glory days of the Scorpioni. However, now, it remained empty, save for a small melon-sized boulder standing still upon the seat. Whether it had fallen from the ravaged ceiling or it had been placed there at some point, there was something untouchable about it, and Scorpia had never disturbed it.
She lowered down beside the throne and seated herself at the feet of ghosts, looking upward at the benevolent face of the figure in her mind.
"Happy birthday, Granddad!" she greeted it cheerfully. "Well," she back-pedaled, "I mean . . . happy my birthday," she frowned pensively ". . . I think?"
There was really no way that Scorpia could be sure.
Like almost all of the young cadets 'recruited' into the ranks of the Horde, Scorpia had been taken from her home when she was very, very young.
At the age of 2, birthdays are miraculous things that seem like they could appear at any time, and calendars and dates are the province of grown-ups.
So, as with almost all of the cadets in the Horde, her birthday was an arbitrary occasion celebrated sporadically and approximately.
But today, Scorpia felt pretty sure that it was her birthday, if for no other reason than the fact that she had been given a sweet gift!
"Look, Grandad!" she urged, as she pushed her chest outward and pointed to the left-side lapel of her tunic. "Yep! That's right!" she grinned proudly, "I'm a Force Captain now! Me! Scorpia! What are the odds of that?!"
She chuckled to herself and shook her head, glancing downward.
"Yeah, I know what you probably would be saying now. How is it that a dumb grunt like me was made an officer?" She didn't say her words unkindly or with any kind of shame, but just as a matter of fact, like she had been called that enough times that it had become nothing more than a nickname.
"Well, I'll tell ya. It all started with me just sort of getting lost and finding my way into a 'Force Captain Orientation' session." Her eyes were alight as she spoke. "And, you know what? It was so interesting I sat down and started taking notes, and before I knew it the instructor had ordered up a badge for me! I guess she saw how dedicated I was to the class and figured I must have lost mine!"
Scorpia chuckled again, deeply and joyfully. "Before I knew it, my name was on the roster, and . . . well, here I am!"
She touched the emblem on her chest.
"They gave me this badge today. And I wanted you to be the first one to see it."
Lost in her reverie, Scorpia had been staring at the ground all of this time.
She stood up and raised her eyes to look at the face high above her: the image of Granddad,
"I wish you really could see it," she murmured wistfully.
Her mind called forth the vaguest of images -- a toddler's view of a tall, loving presence, a smiling face -- blurred by time and emotion.
She inclined her body in a little bow, then straightened up to give a friendly salute.
"I'll do my best, Granddad . . . just like you did."
She felt sure he was smiling.
Hopefully this counts?? (I can't draw at all 😭)
===================
Scorpia looked over her drawing of her and Perfuma with pride, sweeping her eyes over the many vibrant colors that she had applied with love and care. It was a perfect sign of how much she loved her. She then raced off down the hallway giggling to herself as she went to show it to her.

Well, this is a thought-provoking prompt! 😄
One could say so much!
Or also one could not!
In any case, here's my take on "Lust."
And I hope you enjoy it!
There was something about this particular night.
Strange and powerful . . . feelings . . . were coming over people . . . all over Etheria . . .
Adora looked at Catra, and thought:
There’s something about the way she’s waving her tail . . . and how she's . . . stretching like that after our evening workout that makes me feel . . . kinda light-headed . . . and also . . . like I wanna touch her . . . all over.
Hordak looked at Entrapta and thought:
There’s something about observing Entrapta in her work . . .
Her fearlessness in pursuing solutions! Her meticulousness in recording her observations! Her uninhibited passion for knowledge and understanding, no matter the risk or the peril!
It makes me . . . feel something . . . an intense admiration!
Entrapta looked at Darla and thought:
There's something about discovering this entirely new access panel in Darla's inner hull, which reveals power conduits and control feeds for an auxiliary drive mechanism operating independent of and parallel to the primary motive units, while simultaneously extending holographically within the substrate of the energy crystal matrix, thus permitting course trajectory calibration on the molecular level . . . that makes me wanna find out what else Darla can do!
Mermista looked at the ice cream and thought:
There's something about Sea Hawk bringing me a carton of ice cream to eat in the bathtub, . . . and then leaving . . . so I can enjoy it in peace . . . that's . . . actually . . . kinda hot, not gonna lie.
Sea Hawk looked at his torch and thought:
There's something about fire! . . . ADVENTURE!!!!
Perfuma looked at the stars and thought:
There's something about sitting calmly under the glorious night sky . . . that makes me feel like shouting out to the entire world, "I am at peace and full of love . . . for everything in the universe!!"
Scorpia looked at Perfuma and thought:
There's something about watching Perfuma literally shouting out, "I am at peace and full of love for everything in the universe!!" that makes me feel like hugging her right now.
The Shop Owner in Erelandia looked at her wares and thought:
There's something about closing up shop in the evening with none of the inventory stolen and nothing weird or troublesome happening all day . . .that makes me feel . . . like going to bed.
Yes, all over Etheria . . . strange and powerful feelings.
But only in Bright Moon did those feelings lead to . . .
Catra looked at Adora and thought:
There’s something about the way she’s looking at me right now . . . that little light in her eyes that makes me feel . . . like . . . yeah, I think we need a little time alone.
And she reached out her hand and said:
"Heeey, Adora."
And off they went together for . . . you know, whatever . . .
😉
"Wait... you want to hug me?"
"Of course! You can't be the one initiating hugs all the time! Bring it in!"
Ecstatic, Scorpia wrapped up Perfuma in the biggest, most lovable hug she could.
"Oh my gosh, this is amazing- I just didn't expect you to- WOW, I'm at a loss for words right-"
"Scorpia," Perfuma said as she ran her hands up Scorpia's back, "do you know what a hug between two people who have been dating usually leads to?"
"Uh... no. No, I don't know. What does it usually lead to?"
"A kiss."
Okay, I guess I'm makin' my own rules this She-Ra-tober. 😆
Tonight, I'm inspired to do a combination of the last two prompts!
So, here we go!
In the midst of the building chaos, Scorpia held up her pincer and bellowed with a firm, commanding voice.
"Wait, wait!! STOP!!!"
Her words jolted everyone around her into silence and stillness.
Glimmer paused beside her, eyes narrowing suspiciously with a sparkly ball of light raised at the ready.
Mermista frowned at the interruption, standing on the gunwale and holding her trident firmly against Lonnie's stun baton, while Lonnie held her ground sneering angrily unmoving, and glancing in the direction of her Force Captain.
Kyle and Bow were as if frozen, lying on the deck in mid-grapple, bearing equally stunned expressions.
Rogelio hung by his claws from the mast of the ship, halfway up climbing after Sea Hawk.
And Sea Hawk dangled by one hand from the mainsail, his mouth hanging open dopily, having only just intoned the partial word, "AD-VENCH----"
Even from far away, Catra halted her claw in mid-strike, crouching awkwardly on She-Ra's shoulders. She turned her head and craned her neck to see behind her to the waters below.
"SCORPIA!" she barked, "WHAT -- IN ETHERIA -- ARE YOU DOING?!!!"
Scorpia herself just smiled sheepishly, still holding up her pincer in a halting gesture as she fumbled with her other amongst the pockets and crannies of her uniform.
"Hold on!!" she urged, frowning as she searched, "Just a sec! Hold on , hold on!"
Catra let out a seething grumble.
Scorpia called to her, and everyone else around her. "No, just . . . won't take a minute . . . I just gotta--oh! There it is!!"
Triumphantly, Scorpia produced a small sketch pad and a pencil, holding them up as if they explained everything.
Glimmer raised a quizzical eyebrow, her sparkleball momentarily forgotten.
Bow and Kyle relaxed their grips and collapsed beside each other, as if they were just carelessly lounging.
Lonnie and Mermista looked at each other uncertainly and unconsciously lowered their weapons a little, obviously fatigued by the static position.
"No, no, no!" Scorpia pleaded. "Everyone stay where they were! For the sake of art!!"
Catra glared. "WHAT?!!"
Scorpia grinned. "Oh, come on! Look at this!!"
She gestured to the boat excitedly. "A pirate ship . . . ," then to Sea Hawk, "an actual pirate . . . ," and finally to the rest of the group, "and a very pirate-y fight aboard said ship with said pirate! I mean . . . what a moment!!"
She threw up her arms and chuckled.
"It's just golden! I have got to draw this! So, just . . . humor me, okay? Just for a minute, and then we can all get right back to the fight, you have my word."
Kyle looked at Bow, questioningly. Bow shrugged, and together they tried to recreate the hold they had just been engaged in.
Lonnie shot a frustrated look at Mermista and aggressively raised her stun baton again. Mermista smiled eagerly, striking a power stance with her trident.
"Yes! That's perfect!" exclaimed Scorpia happily as her pencil flew over the sketchpad and Glimmer leaned in curiously to watch her work.
Catra just sighed heavily.
"Almost done!" Scorpia assured her as her sketching reached fever mode.
She-Ra glanced uncomfortably at the cat-girl on her back, but carried on with her quiet struggle to repair the Sea Gate with the Sword.
"There!" Scorpia announced proudly, with a final flourish of the pencil. "All done!"
"Mmm. Not bad," Glimmer murmured with an approving smile.
Scorpia grinned, pleased at her work, then raised it high toward the others. "Wanna see?"
Catra snarled. "Later! Now get back to it! FIGHT!!"
Scorpia nodded and dutifully put away the pad and pencil.
And all heck broke loose again!

I hope this is okay to post here. I made a quiz that matches you to one of the Princesses of Powers based on your personality. My friends really liked it, and they encouraged me to share it!
If you want to try it, you can take it here: Which She-Ra Character Are You?
I got Glimmer first and Mermista second, which makes me really happy. I also got Shadow Weaver third, but I'm pretty much just ignoring that. If you take it, let me know if you like it and if you think it's accurate!
