My sister is binging She-Ra, and she noticed this detail in "Princess Scorpia":
The background dialog mentions Darryl... Who are they?
Someone go write me a fanfic about Darryl the random Horde soldier /hj
Hey, guys!
Ready for something VERY angsty? Like MUCH angst-ier than I usually do?
No? Yes? Good.
Okay, this comic is set sometime after the episodes, "Princess Scorpia" -( probably after "Boys' Night Out,") but before "Destiny Part 1."
It's kind of a reply to Scorpia's letter, or a response to the fact that she left.
I tried a different "inking" and "coloring" style in this to create an effect. It's messier.
Tell me what you think!
Do you like it?
Regarding Scorpia's mothers, all we have to work off of is a photo and maybe a few quotes. The canon is greatly undetailed, and the writers of the show left these sorts of things up in the creative air, for us to fill in the gaps however we want. Here's a few ideas for the relationship between Scorpia's mothers.
Above is Scorpia's cotside photo. Below is the grand depiction behind the scorpion throne at Horror Hall, presumably the Scorpion Royal Family that Scorpia mentions.
The bearded figure in the middle is King Granddad. The two figures at his sides match the ones in Scorpia's cotside picture. One figure is entirely unknown, and the last figure looks like a young Scorpia.
First idea: The Queen disappeared, and King Granddad was left to rule alone. One mother is the sole daughter of the King, and the other married in. The father entirely accepted her as family, regarding her as a second daughter, and he had this mosaic made in honor of their union. They had two daughters together and the mosaic was filled in.
Second idea: The King had two daughters, one with black hair and one with white. One of them gave birth to Scorpia, the other to her cousin, and the fathers weren't in the picture. The sisters teamed up to raise their daughters together. Or they did it independently and came together for photos.
Third idea: One of the figures in the photo is Scorpia's mother, and the other is Queen Grandma. Scorpia's father is out of the picture, and the Queen helped her daughter in raising her granddaughter. Or, again, she did it independently and they came together for photos.
Just some food for thought.
