Similar names is the only inspiration for this. Should I do another character as Glinda or Elphaba next?
Hey, y'all! 😄
Gettin' closer to finishing these fanfics before it becomes She-Ra-tober-vember-cember!!!
This prompt is a bit of a challenge for a writer to do properly, but here goes, and I hope you like it!
I give you: Draw a Part of a Song's Lyrics!
In which Catra must be strong and brave while standing on the edge of greatness in an effort to turn darkness to light, being sure to find every bit of strength she has so that she won't let it go, as her friends encourage her and stand beside her ready to fight.
Catra groaned as she struggled to hold the . . . whatever it was. It was big and awkward and dangling with shiny whirling bits, and she was making a valiant attempt to hang it on a hook on the ceiling. Strain sounded through her voice.
"Urnggghhh! Why is this thing so . . . heavy?" she complained.
"Don't let go!" warned Glimmer from down below, "It's fragile!" She looked up at Bow. "And it's beautiful," she enthused, "The baby will love it!"
"Oh, good," Catra said with effort, lifting the crystal construction a little higher to try to catch it on the hook.
"I've got you," Adora reassured her. She gripped her girlfriend tightly around her waist as Catra leaned way out toward the center of the room, her toes barely touching the small ledge she was on. "Just . . . be strong!" Adora encouraged her. "And also brave," she added after a moment.
Catra scowled. "I am!" she insisted. "And I'm using every bit of strength I have. It's just . . . not so easy when you're standing on the edge of a high window and trying to be careful with this . . . " She glanced at Bow, gritting her teeth with restraint, " . . . beautiful monstrosity."
Bow smiled. "You're doing great!" He was standing beside Adora on the ledge, steadying her while she steadied Catra and looked on admiringly. "And," he continued sheepishly, " . . . sorry, I guess I just got a little carried away with all the little details on the mobile. It's probably too much."
From below, Glimmer objected, "No! It's perfect! And the lights on it will make the area over the baby's crib so much less dark!"
She frowned at a small gap where the hook was screwed into the ceiling.
"Hmmm, I hope there aren't any mouse-ipedes up there."
Catra almost lost her footing. "What?!!" she squeaked.
Adora gripped Catra more securely. "Don't worry! We're right here beside you, ready to fight them off, . . . whatever they are!" She frowned uncertainly, despite her confident tone.
"Oh, they're harmless," Glimmer remarked dismissively, "Just annoying . . . when they get into your hair."
"Okay! I'm done!" Catra said hurriedly, as she made a lunge and successfully hooked the mobile in place.
And also slipped off the ledge. "Wahh!" she exclaimed.
Adora caught her arm, and Bow kept Adora from falling off, too!
Catra shook herself free and dropped the last 8 feet to the ground, frowning at the others as they climbed down off the ledge.
Catra turned to Glimmer. "There. It's up. All good?"
Glimmer beamed at the crystal mobile, then turned toward Catra, giving her a big hug. "It's perfect!" And then a small kiss on the cheek. "You're my hero!"
Bow stood beside her, smiling, eyebrow raised as he cleared his throat meaningfully.
Glimmer turned and grinned with a romantic twinkle in her eye. "And you're always my hero." She gave him a tender kiss on the lips.
Adora stepped up beside Catra, putting her arms around her girlfriend and holding her close. She turned toward the others.
"I think we can be heroes together," she said warmly.
"Best Friend Squad hug!" Bow announced throwing his arms out to embrace them.
And so it was, as the glittering starlike mobile shined its light and turned slowly above them.
Me and my pal when we see Entapatra, Glimmer, Angella, Adora and Catra in their pajamas:

Oh, no never!
This is absolutely not me being really really late with She-Ra-tober fan fics!
I'm just savoring the experience!
So, I'm keeping Grace company for She-Ra-tober-vember! 😅
And I'm doing some catch up by combining prompts again.
So I hope you will enjoy my take on "Paintball Palette Swap"!
As Queen Glimmer welcomed Adora to the ballroom, she couldn't help but giggle at her face. Adora looked away uncomfortably, but she couldn't really feel offended.
Everyone at the ball was giggling and smiling as they looked around the room and saw how their friends and acquaintances had been transformed.
The "Royal Bright Moon Paint Ball" was an innovation of Double Trouble's in their new position as First Dramatist of the Realm, charged with uplifting the spirits of all citizenry in the kingdom with creative theatrical events.
This particular event was highly participatory as all guests and their partners were invited to arrive having painted each other's faces in fanciful colors and patterns! Double Trouble had assured the queen that the result would be hilarious delight for everyone involved!
And, of course, they had been absolutely right!
Even the most awkward party-goer could not help but be amused by the spirit of play, and any anticipatory nervousness immediately fell away when people saw the spectacle that was created!
Even Catra, who had reluctantly submitted to Adora painting on her for what seemed like hours, took one glance at Glimmer's sappy heart-bedecked face and immediately forgot her own self-consciousness. She burst out laughing with a wide-open grin!
But the moment Catra appeared from behind Adora, Glimmer stopped laughing and just stared. She turned and motioned to Bow, who bobbed up beside them, his face decorated with dozens of little hearts, just like Glimmer's.
"Hey, guys! What's -- wow . . . Catra!"
Adora and Catra shared an uncomfortable look. Adora looked from Bow to Glimmer.
"Oh . . ." Adora smiled tensely from a face hidden beneath layers of red and yellow stripes and swirls. She gestured from Catra to herself and back. "So, . . . were we supposed to match, or something?"
Bow gazed with wonder at the midnight blue sky painted across Catra's face and the countless tiny white stars dotted all over it in streaming patterns. "Huh? Oh! No. That was just Glimmer's idea for her and me."
Glimmer continued to stare at Catra's face and shook her head. "That's amazing, Adora! It must have taken hours!"
Adora shrugged and looked downward. "Oh, well, you know me."
Just then, Double Trouble glided up beside the group of friends, taking them by their hands and urging them toward the center of the floor.
"Come on, lovelies! It's time to dance!!"
-------
After the seventh compliment about her face, Catra could barely take it anymore.
"Grrrr! When are they gonna stop that?!"
Adora was smiling proudly. "What do you mean? They think it's beautiful!"
"Yeah, well it's getting old." Catra studied her artistic work on Adora and scowled. "Why did you have to try so hard, anyway!"
Adora frowned. "I don't know. I was just having fun. I'm sorry."
Catra smiled at her girlfriend's earnest concern. "Forget about it. It's fine."
Adora gave Catra a worried look. "You sure?"
Just then another couple whirled by them on the dance floor and pointed to Catra's face. "Wow! That's so epic!"
"Augggh!!" Catra growled, then turned to Adora with a less-than-convincing, "Yeah! I'm sure!!"
Adora was still grinning from the compliment on her work. "Awwww" she murmured sympathetically. "I'd swap with you if I could!"
Now Catra was grinning. "You would, huh?"
Adora nodded, "Of course I would. But I don't know how."
Catra's grin widened. "I just thought of a way," she said.. "And it might be fun."
Adora didn't quite understand what her girlfriend meant, but she recognized that special glint in her eye.
Adora's voice lowered flirtatiously. "Do it," she consented.
A moment later, Catra had swung Adora over her leg in a low and provocative dip. She brought her face close to Adora's and . .
Well, . . .
The result wasn't exactly a swap of their face paint.
But let's just say that for the rest of the night, there was a lot more blue and white color on Adora's face and a lot more yellow and red on Catra's!
At long last, it's Halloween, and the end of She-Ra-tober!
I have had so much fun reading everyone's amazing fanfics!
And despite being extremely busy, I somehow managed to write something for all 31 days of the event!!
Which I'm extremely proud of!

Glimmer couldn't stop screaming.
The glitches were happening again. The pain had returned to haunt her. And this time, she didn't have Angella to comfort her. In fact, it seemed like she didn't have anyone to comfort her at all.
She was alone.
Lost.
And desperate.
But that's when she saw a light. A light that was warm. And welcoming. Soon enough, Adora, Bow, and Catra each stepped into focus, helping her to her feet. As she got up, Glimmer made out two more people: Angella and Micah, whom she immediately wrapped up in a hug.
A hug that healed her body, soul, and mind. A hug that readied her for whatever cruel thing life threw at her next.
She was Queen Glimmer of Bright Moon.
And she wasn't about to let anyone change that.
I've read enough gothic literature that I thought I really should do this prompt. I recently finished Dracula, so that's been on my mind. Also, apparently Karen Fukuhara once suggested to ND Stevenson that Glimmer become a vampire (I wish I had more context for you). Hence this drawing.
The above is the "clean" version; the original is below. TW: blood
I've actually drawn Glimmer as a vampire before because of that, but I thought I'd try it in a different style this time.
I wish I'd had more time to work on this, so I could've made it a bit more polished and made the dress fancier. 19th century fashion is really fun and I would've liked to add more decorations. (This dress also isn't for any particular time period; I figured since Glimmer isn't from our world, there was no need to try and make this historically accurate.)
The original version:
Adora crouched behind a pillar in full-on stealth mode, clutching a paintball gun in her right hand and a shield in the other. She was waiting for one person in particular to pass by her, so she could eliminate them and end the game. Then she saw her: Glimmer, completely unaware of her surroundings. She put the scope of her gun to her eye and laid her index finger on the trigger, ready to take the shot, when all of a sudden...
(WAPPOW!!)
Adora's armor was suddenly full of color from a paintball shot that had landed on her. She turned around, and there was Catra blowing the smoke off the barrel of her own gun, which she had just eliminated Adora with. That's when Glimmer shouted over her shoulder:
"Nice try, Adora! Thankfully I picked someone who knows you inside and out to be on my team."
Consider this a teaser from my future fic and Intro of my OC! :D

Lance sighed, "It's awfully quiet."
"Mhm." George murmured in agreement.
"So like... why are we even bored? We're historians, in a library, full of books, about history!" Lance exclaimed, his voice increasing in volume as he stated each phrase.
"Mhm" George repeated, not shifting his gaze from the wall.
"I mean, is it just that we've gotten so used to something exciting happening at the most unexpected of times??" Lance continues to ponder as he gets up and starts pacing around the coffee table, "I mean, I hate being bored! I've never been bored in the last 20 year-", he was interrupted by the door swinging open.
"Hey dads!"
"Bow?!" both fathers startled at their son's sudden appearance and Lance darted off to hug him.
"Uh, Hi! We're here too!" a blond girl wearing a red jacket stated, popping around Bow.
"Hiii!!" squealed another girl that looked like she was dunked in glitter.
"Adora! Glimmer!" George got up and joined in the hug, including the princesses too. "What brings you here?" he asked as the hug dissolved.
"Oh right!" Adora started, "We wanted to ask about this." Adora said, holding out a dark, hard-bound book. It looked ancient overall, its once dark-brown cover now faded grey. It had copper, once gold, designs etched into a pattern that looked like the golden flower on She-Ra's chest.
"Wow..." Lance breathed.
"We found it in a First Ones ruin." Adora informed the historians.
Lance turned a page.
Faded smudged ink inscribed 'Zephira, She-Ra, Princess of Power'.

Yes yes i made a she-ra that exited just before Mara, i kinda liked the 'ra' tradition sooooooooo.......
Here's another novelized scene from an episode
===================================================
"I'll never say sorry to anybody, ever!" a young Catra called, without tuning back to look at Adora, whom she had just flattened against the floor.
The present Catra sighs and looks at her reflection in one of the walls.
It never lasts.
Her eyes widen as she hears a child giggling. She looks over to the intersection of hallways, where another Young Catra and Adora are laughing and running, Young Catra pulling Young Adora down and rough-housing. Both were laughing exuberantly as the present Catra looks on and gasps. Then Young Adora stops laughing and seems to notice her while the young Catra kept on chuckling.
"I'm always gonna be your friend!" the young Adora called as if responding to Catra's thoughts just a moment ago.
She grunts softly as she closes her eyes, the opens them, to find the memory gone.
Her eyes narrow, in consideration.
Something tugged at her heart. What was it?
Urgency? Fear? Dedication... ? Responsibility... ?? ... Purpose ... ?
"Just do one good thing in your life!"
Whatever it was, she knew what she had to do.
'Just do one good thing in your life...' she echoed Glimmer's words out in her head.
She turns and bolts down the hallway in the opposite direction.
Back at Glimmer's cell, one of Horde Prime's clones approaches the forcefield restraining the queen, a tray of food in hand.
Catra lets out a yell and leaps at the clone.
There was a sound of sound of fabric tearing followed by the clone's yell of surprise. He huffs angrily, but Catra shoves his face into the floor.
"It's nothing personal... Hordak."
Catra grunts as she shoves her claws into the receptacle at the base of Hordak's neck, causing electricity to spark and his eye to turn withe and power down.
Catra lifts him up with a grunt.
"I'm coming in!"
Glimmer readies herself for confrontation with her displaced chair leg as Catra uses Hordak's limp hand to open the field.
Glimmer lowers the chair leg in confusion, "What are you doing?"
"I'm doing that one good thing in my life. Like you said. So... Come with me!" The girl sounded desperate. As if she wasn't sure weather this was worth it, and was almost ready to stop it...
Glimmer takes it. Catra almost feels relief as they run out.
In a hallway, Catra and Glimmer round a corner, walking with brisk urgency with Glimmer still holding her chair leg.
"Where are we going? What's the plan? ...;How do I know i cat trust you?" Glimmer hissed as loudly as she dared.
"You don't." Catra responded to only the final question. Urgh, shut up...
They round another corner and gasp at the clone standing there, and the gasp again as two more appear from behind.
"Little sister, why is our guest out of her quarters?"
My what 'hospitality', Catra thought sarcastically.
"She wanted to get some fresh air. Didn't you..." with efficient effort, she leapt at the clone in front of them making him cry out in surprise. "...princess?!" she finished, mockingly.
The clones behind Glimmer approach her, and in he defense she fires a blow with her chair leg to one in the abdomen with a grunt. The other grabs the leg and throws it away, making it clatter behind him. Glimmer backs away from the clone fists raised, but Catra leaps at him and he falls to the ground.
"Hit them in the back of the neck, that should take them down."
The clone shouts and Glimmer slams a double fist down on the back of his neck.
"Not bad, Sparkles." Catra admits with a slight chuckle. Suddenly, an alarm begins to wail and flash red lights, "Let's go!"
They both run; a door hums open and Catra grabs Glimmer by the arm and leads her to the glass teleportation platform. The field goes up around the platform and chimes when Glimmer touches it.
"What are you doing?"
"What does it look like? I'm getting you out of here." Catra says, pressing buttons on the console that beep. The console chimes affirmatively as the doors close in a hiss. "Good. That should hold them."
"Wait, are you--are you saving me?" Glimmer ased in disbelief.
"Not you. Adora. Even if I sent her a message to stay away, she'd still come for you. That's just how she is.", Catra admits, her voice thick with masked regret, maybe even shame.
There is a loud banging and grunting as clones struggle to get the door open by force.
"What about you?"
"Me? All I do is hurt people. There's no one left in the entire universe who cares about me." , her voice shifts from faking to just pure sadness... but it was only for a moment before she buried it under the present moment's urgency.
Meanwhile, back on Darla's bridge, Adora stands looking at Entrapta with Bow standing neaby.
"Is it working now?" Adora asks worriedly.
"Are you there, Darla?" Entrapta asks the ship.
A hologram whirs alive in front of them. "Yes. Welcome back, Entrapta."
Darla's interface states flatly..
Entrapta shouts in excitement and hugs the hologram, "I missed you!" in clear delight. The hologram flies out of Entrapta's embrace. "There is a transmission being received. Would you like to open communication?"
Adora pushes past Entrapta to press a button that beeps on the console "Patch it through."
"Adora?" Catra called over the transmitter.
"Catra?", Adora was clearly shocked.
"Don't sound so happy to hear me. I'm sending Glimmer to you." once again, almost relieved. Back on Prime's ship, buttons beep as Catra taps away at the console. "I don't know your exact location, but I can get her to your quadrant. You have to be there to catch her." urgency spilling into her voice.
"Wait, wait, what? What's going on? Glimmer is-is with you?"
The clones finally burst through the door and yell.
"We don't have time." she's taping at the buttons "You need to get to these coordinates now. Don't come here, no matter what." She grunts as she hits away a clone "Horde Prime is ready for you." She grunts again as she kicks away another clone
"Catra, I don't understand, what is--"
Over the transmitter, Catra grunts in pain "Just listen!"
Catra struggles as two clones hold her arms back "Adora...I'm SORRY!" She almost screams. She struggles to tear her arm away from a clone. "For EVERYTHING!" she crying now and finally succeeds and grunts as she swipes the console, making it whir as it powers up.
The energy surges around Glimmer on the platform as Catra is tackled by many clones, grunting as she drowns in the mass of white and grey.
"Catra!" Glimmer cries as she is ported away.
Catra grunts over the transmitter before the line cuts to static.
Adora tears up and cries out desperately, "No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no! Catra! Come back!"
"The communication channel has been closed."
So that's what the feeling was, I saved Adora, and Glimmer at the same time, maybe even all of Etheria... for now at least, but I did something good... and this time, I don't need anyone telling me whether it was worth it or not.
I know the answer, anything, is worth protecting her.
I will protect her. As far as i can.
No you don't get context ehehehe!
Ya, i skipped Lust bc i didn't kow what the h3ck to do for it... i dont rlly have any sexual feelings sooooooooo ... im trying out the label Greysexual now...
But uh, this seemed more do-able
Iv used a little strong language, but i've censored it, dw
===============================================
“Raaah!” She-Ra roared as she drove the sharp edge of her sword through a Horde bot, splitting it clean in two. Sparks flew.
She paused, brushing her mass of golden hair back behind her shoulder.
Crack.
Lights.
Bright lights.
Suddenly, Adora was standing alone in a black void, a staff in her hand—lavender, violet, and purple
Confused, she let the staff fall, stretching out her hand. Instantly, the new Sword of Protection materialized with a burst of white-gold light.
“For the Honor of Greyskull!”
Golden light consumed her, swallowing the darkness whole.
When the blinding haze faded, the new She-Ra stood twice as tall as the former—this time on a platform bathed in sickly green light. The place was all too familiar.
“Hello, Adora.” The sickeningly calm voice struck her like lightning.
In a flash, she raised the golden sword and tore through the illusion as if it were a drawing on paper.
Darkness fell.
Whispers.
“Uh, why are we creeping up on Adora?” a low voice muttered.
“Shut up! You know why!” a higher, more frantic one hissed.
“Guys, if you screw this up, you owe me seven hours of sleep. You hear me?” came a third voice, sounding p!$$ed.
Adora groaned, reaching out groggily. The warmth of her girlfriend that had been next to her was gone.
Where’d she go? Ugh, I should just open my eyes… but I’m so tiiired…
Something brushed her outstretched hand—a cape?
“AHH!” she yelped, jolting upright and grabbing a handful of shiny blue fabric.
“What the—?!” a startled voice cried.
“Glimmer?? Wha—” she blinked, still half-asleep.
But before she could finish—
“SURPRISE!!!”
The lights blazed on.
Standing in front of her was the entire Best Friend Squad, the Princess Alliance, and what looked like half of Etheria… all gathered around a cake the size of a bus tire.
Adora’s jaw dropped.
“What…” she started.
Before she could process it, Catra swooped in, popped a party hat on her head, and grinned wickedly.
“Happy birthday, dummy.”
Adora blinked. Her expression shifted from shock, to confusion.
“Wait… what’s a birthday again?”

How Many People can Glimmer can Teleport?
I literally had this question on my mind
Glimmer paced and forth in her dressing room, playing the "what if" game with herself.
"What if I'm not ready for a relationship yet? What if Bow isn't ready either? What if we've both been rushing through this whole thing? What if-"
"Glimmer?"
Her thoughts were cut off as Adora peeked her head into the room.
"It's time."
At that, Glimmer gathered up her bouquet and adjusted her hair one last time. She took a deep breath and walked out into the aisle.
Once again I'm reaching back to pick up one of the prompts I missed!
So what if a surprise party became a "Ninja-Shera Party"?
Please accept this silliness!
Bow, Adora, Spinnerella, Netossa and Catra were gathered in the Council Chamber of Brightmoon Castle for a little morning meeting.
"Okay," began Bow, "So, today is Glimmer's birthday, and I'm hoping you'll all help me make this really special for her."
All around the table, everyone nodded eagerly.
"So, what do you want us to do?" asked Catra.
Bow put his hands on the table and leaned in close. The others instinctually leaned in toward him, "So . . . Glimmer is still asleep, but she won't be for long, and I thought it would be neat if we could all wish her a happy birthday together, first thing when she wakes up."
Adora nodded, "Okay, sure. We can do that."
Bow frowned. "But I want it to be like a real surprise party, and I'm not sure how to make that happen."
"Oh," said Spinnerella, nodding understandingly.
Adora wrinkled her brow in confusion. "But, don't you have to have a lot of food and stuff for a party?"
"Oh, that's not the problem," Bow assured her. "I've got all the food and party supplies and stuff ready to bring to Glimmer's room, but I want it to be a surprise party."
Catra shook her head. "What's a 'surprise party'?"
"It's . . . where you plan a party, and . . . it's a surprise?" explained Bow.
"So Glimmer has to be surprised," Adora summarized.
"Yes!" affirmed Bow, "Right now, I need a way to get all of us and the stuff for the party into her bedroom and have it be a surprise."
Adora nodded seriously, "When she wakes up."
"Exactly!"
Adora tilted her head in consideration as the others watched. Then she smiled wide and nodded. "I can do that for you," she announced. "Follow me! And bring the party stuff!"
Adora led her friends, along with all the supplies they were carrying, outside of the castle and around to directly underneath Glimmer's bedroom window.
For a moment, Adora stared upward at the window and pondered something in her head. Then she nodded again.
"Wait here a moment."
As everyone else wondered what she had in mind, Adora left them for a couple of minutes, returning pushing a large wheeled cart.
"Okay, now go ahead and put all the party stuff in the cart."
They did as she suggested and then watched her expectantly.
Adora raised her hand to grasp the Sword of Protection from the air, and then quietly intoned, "For the Honor of Grayskull."
As Adora transformed, Spinnerella turned toward Netossa. "She-Ra? Why She-ra?"
Netossa smiled at her wife. "I'll bet she's gonna do something ninja! I just know it!"
She turned toward She-Ra, asking her, "Right? You're gonna do something ninja to get us all into Glimmer's room?"
She-Ra smiled proudly, knowing how helpful she was being to her friends.
"Uhhh, ninja. Sure!" she replied. "Yeah, you can just call me . . . Nin-ja-She-Ra!"
Bow looked pleased. "All right, Ninja-She-Ra! What do we all do now?"
She-Ra gestured to the cart. "Everybody get in, and I'll tell you what to do next."
Everyone amiably followed along, wondering how She-Ra was going to use her 'ninja' skills to sneak into Glimmer's room.
Once everyone and everything for the party was in the cart, She-Ra did a couple of stretches and then told everybody to "Hang on tight!"
"What?" Bow asked, suddenly slightly worried.
-----
Glimmer was sleeping as peacefully as a little lamb when the first rays of the sun came through her window. She smiled and sighed in her dreams.
But Glimmer was NOT sleeping peacefully the moment that all of her closest friends burst through her window with a thundering CRASH!!!
She sat up and practically hit the ceiling as She-Ra smashed into her room carrying a cart full of Bow, Catra, Spinnerella and Netossa, along with a birthday banquet and numerous gifts and birthday decorations!
They landed on the floor below her about as gracefully as you might expect!
Glimmer fell out of her bed with a "WAUUUGGGHH!!" and landed with a thump spread-eagled onto the floor!
Adora detransformed. "Hi, Glimmer! Were you surprised?!!"
Catra hopped out of the cart and put an arm around Adora's waist.
"Wow," she said, "Great job, Adora. I think you really surprised her!"
It's difficult to say if she was being sarcastic or genuine.
Bow stepped shakily out of the cart and almost fell over.
"H-h-happy Birthday, Glimmer! Are you . . . o-okay?" he managed, trying to sound joyful and the opposite of traumatized. He kneeled beside Glimmer and reached under her shoulders to help.
Glimmer raised her head with an expression that was half shock and half annoyance, but she cracked a little smile at Bow's sweet attempt to act like nothing strange had just happened.
Spinnerella and Netossa had fallen over amongst the party stuff and were giggling uncontrollably.
As Glimmer and Bow were helping each other up and beginning to giggle themselves, Adora turned to Catra and asked, "Ninja. That means clever, . . . right?"
Catra just shrugged.
So . . .
DISCLAIMER:
In my headcanon, coffee does NOT exist on Etheria.
(I mean, otherwise, Glimmer would be drinking it constantly!)
That said, please enjoy my take on "Coffee"
Glimmer shuffled slowly from the hallway toward the dining room table like the walking dead, her body bent over and her arms dangling in front of her as if they were about to fall off.
It wasn't exactly early. But it was earlier than Glimmer liked.
"Coooffeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee," she moaned pitifully as she sank into her chair and slumped forward. Her forehead thumped onto the surface of the table, and all that could be seen of her head was a wild frazzle of pink and purple hair, sparkling feebly.
She lay there completely inert, groaning like a creaky door.
Bow's entrance from one of the kitchen doors went totally unnoticed until he drew near to her, holding out a couple of mugs and a steaming pot and speaking the most beautiful word in the most beautiful way that Glimmer had ever heard.
"Coffee?" he offered her invitingly with a lovely smile that she should have been ashamed to miss.
Her whole body reacted with a tingle that sent several sparkles flying off of her head! Without looking up, her hands began to gesture urgently toward herself, as if they were taking their own initiative to rescue their owner!
Bow set a lavender mug down in front of Glimmer's head and poured a generous quantity from the pot into the mug.
"Coffee," he said, by way of announcement.
Glimmer threw her hands around the mug and drew it closer while lifting her head slightly from the table. "Coffeeeee!" she murmured with eager anticipation until the edge of the mug met her lips and she tilted it greedily toward herself!
At that moment, Adora entered the room, looking around.
She saw Glimmer and grinned, walking toward her.
Raising her hand in a greeting, Adora was about to speak when Bow stepped in front of her, holding out a steaming gold mug.
"Coffee?" he recommended.
Adora took the cup in her hands: an automatic reaction.
She stared down at the unfamiliar drink with a perplexed expression.
"Coffee??" she repeated, testing the unfamiliar word.
"Coffee," Bow confirmed, and he turned back toward the kitchen with his pot, having run out of mugs.
As he passed by Glimmer, her arm shot out like a striking cobra, grabbing Bow's arm and stopping him in his tracks. He looked at her, startled and confused.
"Coffee!" she hissed. She let go of Bow's arm as soon as he set the pot down beside her, and he continued off on his errand to the kitchen.
Adora regarded this with bemusement, wondering what was so special about this . . . coffee stuff. She stared at her mug again, not altogether trusting of the hot, swirling liquid. She was sniffing it experimentally as Catra walked into the room.
Catra stopped next to Adora and they met eyes. Then Catra looked down at the nasty-looking drink in Adora's hand. She opened her mouth to say something, but before she could speak, Adora answered her unspoken question.
"Coffee." she clarified with neutral feeling, as if that was the one and only thing she knew about the subject. And, in fact, it was.
Catra stared closer, wrinkling her nose in disgust. "Coffee???" she asked with a suspicious tone.
Suddenly, Glimmer sprang up straight in her chair, with a beaming smile!
"Coffee!!!" she pronounced triumphantly, and it appeared that all of her energy and sparkle had been restored.
Just then, Bow was back, and he approached Catra with yet another steaming mug of . . . "Coffee?" he offered her genially.
Catra was too surprised to not take the mug from him, which she did quickly in a reaction that suggested she worried that he was about to drop it on her feet.
Adora smiled at Catra and motioned to Glimmer with her head.
Catra followed Adora over to the table, eyes fixed on her mug. She was unsure what to think about it. "Coffee," she said tonelessly.
"Coffee," Adora quickly confirmed.
They sat down beside Glimmer, who turned to look at them both, grinning blissfully. "Coffeeeeeeee!" she sighed to them.
Bow sat down beside her, taking Glimmer's hand in his, raising his mug and smiling with satisfaction. "Coffee!" he agreed with similar energy.
Adora turned to look at her girlfriend. Shrugging she raised her mug with a tiny smile. "Coffee," she said, just going along with the others.
Catra said nothing, but just held the mug uncertainly.
The quiet was broken as someone suddenly entered the room with a large tray of cups and saucers and a steaming pot in the middle.
Everyone looked up in surprise to see Perfuma smiling broadly.
"I made tea for everyone!" she announced!
